Are you overflowing with passion for Sanford? Do you love to write and take pictures? Do you constantly find yourself at Sanford events? Come work with Sanford365!
We are looking for a few Assistant Contributors for Sanford365— aka, folks who will help us promote everything we love in Sanford, 24 hours a day, 365 day a year. We need help writing event coverage, posting pictures, managing contests and giveaways…basically everything that helps Sanford365 operate on a daily basis.
Although this is technically an unpaid position (like all positions at Sanford365), you will receive numerous benefits, including press passes to events, the occasional commission, and involvement in one of the most down to earth, active organizations in town…which for the right candidate will mean everything! This position is ideal for anyone who wants to gain experience writing and blogging or is trying to build up a portfolio.
So if this sounds like something you’d like to try out, send us an email with the following information:
- Where you’re from in Sanford and how long you’ve lived there
- Your primary interests (writing, photography, event planning, drinking, etc)
- A writing sample of 200-500 words, telling us about your connection Sanford and your vision for our town’s future. This section will be judged for content and for writing quality (attention to grammar/spelling, style, ease of reading, etc).
