Jeanine Taylor Folk Art. 211 E 1st St. (407) 323-2774Jeanette Comtois delves into color, form and various acrylic painting and drawing techniques to teach students how to express themselves through art. Students will create self-portraits and animal portraits on unlikely materials. Students will come away with multiple finished pieces ready to don the halls of their own home gallery.

This year we look at the history of law enforcement in Seminole County through crafts, activities, games, and challenges. Myersville Farms Summer Camp
Myersville Farms. 6053 Lake Ave, Sanford, FL 32773Experience first hand what it is like to be a farmer on a real working farm.
Little kids love farm classes too! Most classes start with a story and include a craft. All classes include animal interaction with our friendly goats, chickens or bunnies.
The price for camp is $350 for the week. Meals and water are included.
Hands on learning experience at a real working farm! Campers will learn all aspects of animal care including milking goats and bathing our friendly cow, Darla. Campers will also learn about our farm ecosystem, and participate in a guided hike to learn about our diverse eco terrains. We will also be cooking, composting, cleaning and harvesting. This camp is intended to be a unique experience that provides education and lots of fun!

The University of Florida IFAS Extension office in Seminole County will be holding a five day camp focused on Entomology. This day camp is for youth ages 12-18 (as of 9/1/21). During this in-person camp, teens will learn how to catch and identify bugs, preserve them, and start their own collection. Teens will receive their own pinning equipment and learn how to create an insect habitat. Finally, youth will learn from professionals in the community about the many jobs available in entomology.
