My favorite Latin healthy (!) “fast food” place in Sanford. If there was a Chipotle in Sanford (maybe soon??) it would be definitely competing with this one, Pollo Tropical, a restaurant chain you can find all over Orlando, well all over Florida if I’m not mistaken. I come here about once a week to have some fresh chicken, rice and beans along with a side of plantains. But that’s just the simplest dish, there’s a lot more you may like: Cuban wraps, Fajitas, Grill platters, …delicious! Very good food and so affordable! The atmosphere inside is very pleasant too with Latin rhythms playing in the background. And as dessert I mostly pick the Tres Leches, even though the Guava cheesecake or Mango Smoothie are very delicious, too! Pollo Tropical is located in front of Super Target and Circuit City by the Seminole Town Center. The address is 1001 W.P. Ball Blvd, Sanford, FL 32771. Check it out next time you shop at Target (BTW, my favorite grocery & more store, will surely post more about it here soon). They also have very affordable family meals and a drive through.
