Be sure to follow Tracy & Mike on their many adventures @tracytakesiton Thank you also to Theater West End, The Smiling Bison and 119 French for donating the perfect date night for our ambassadors June Date Night!

I was 13 when the movie Ghost came out in theaters….. name one teen girl who didn’t LOVE that movie?!?!? So when I had the chance to see the musical version, I couldn’t turn it down! There was really no better way to spend our June date night than this! We were able to secure seats to Ghost The Musical at Theater West End and it was phenomenal! But before I jump ahead, Let’s start at the beginning….. We got to Sanford a little early so we popped into Celery City for a cold beverage before dinner. Lucky for us, we had our pre-show dinner reservations at The Smiling Bison on the last day of the Bite 30 menu. A few of our dinner selections included the the fried green tomatoes, pork belly wraps, scallops and the red wine raspberry sorbet… and oh my! They were delicious!

After the hubby and I filled our bellies we strolled over to Theater West End. It was our first time at this theater but it will not be out last. We were blown away by not only the cast and level of talent in this production, but the theater itself. It was very intimate and welcoming. As mentioned before, this production was full of talent, especially Oda Mae Brown. She was amazing. Her performance was so captivating. Great casting all around!

Once the show let out we called Ride Lime to catch a free ride over to 119 French for a nightcap. We had such nice conversation with our Ride Lime driver on our way over to 119 French. Having this FREE ride service within downtown Sanford is super cool and you should really take advantage of it next time you are in town. It’s another one of the many benefits that downtown Sanford has to offer. As we pulled up to 119 French I will notice two things….. the adorable, courtyard and the live music! We grabbed a few seats outside and listened to the tunes, sipped our drinks and recapped the musical. Quite a few of our favorite songs were played before we called an Uber to head home. All in all, it was a perfect night. Once again, Sanford gave us a great date night! A few more weeks and we get to #sanford all over again for July’s date night!
