The title of this post is German, so no, it doesn’t mean “die” as in “I want you to die, you mean Bratwurst” (why would anyone say this, right? other than wanting to “kill” the Bratwurst by devouring it, or being mad at it for once again ruining your diet resolutions…). “Die Bratwurst” simply means “the brat(wurst)” and this one here was part of a weekly special at Hollerbach’s Willow Tree Cafe (Tuesdays Bratwurst lunch for $4.99)
