If you go downtown on a regular basis, sooner or later you probably crossed paths with “the bird man” and his beautiful exotic birds. After chatting with him for a while and taking awkward bird pictures with the boys, we learned that he actually rescues these birds. He is even available to come to kids’ birthday parties so the little ones can earn more about birds. Nicolas is still a bit too young for this but we already have a theme for his next birthday party: Pirates (and their parrots, harharhar).
