Day 22 – Yellow Wild Flower Sea by Lake Jesup

Christina read my mind: I have been meaning to head out to Lake Jesup to take a picture of the amazingly beautiful wild flower field. It is something truly special 🙂

“I hadn’t intended to have another shot of the 417 so soon but I had forgotten the beauty that blooms on the banks of Lake Jesup this time of year. If you want to catch a glimpse of this sea of yellow wild flowers you better head out there soon as they only last a couple of weeks!”

I’m a native Floridian living Boca Raton, Florida. I’m also an Architect, specializing in residential design. In addition to that, I love all things Florida, and spend all my free time, focusing on my passion for landscape photography. I love exploring the prairies, creeks, rivers, shorelines, swamps, and hammocks of Florida. I’ve been meaning to get up to Lake Jessup, to photograph the yellow wild flowers. I was wondering if you could tell me if they are really blooming at the moment. I was thinking about heading up Thursday or Friday of this week.
