Wolfy’s Bar and Grill has without a doubt one of the best locations in Sanford – right on Lake Monroe with fantastic lake views! This Key West style bar is a great place to meet up with friends for drinks. The atmosphere is very casual so you will certainly feel comfortable. Their motto “Food, Spirits and Sunsets” fittingly describes what awaits you here ;o)
We have had great times here, however I have to say I personally wasn’t to fond of their food but the location and view makes up for that. It may just be the type of food (lots of fried stuff and mainly bar food) so you might have a different experience and I encourage you to give it a try! Fridays and Saturdays there’s mostly live music and Wolfy’s has a daily Happy Hour from 11:30am to 7pm.
Since Wolfy’s is under new ownership their web site will get a different look soon but for now here’s a link to it along with their info:

My Sister and Brother in Law, were visiting us from Miami, so I took them to Wolfy's. It was a first time for my wife and I also and will be our last.
We waited over 40 minutes before food was brought to our table. Our bill for 5 people totaled $80 and that was with my wife and I sharing a meal. We are not talking about steaks but chicken baskets, with no liquor added in the total cost.
My Sister ordered a wrap but couldn't finish it because it was too spicy. We asked if we could exchange it for another chicken basket (4 chicken tenders and fries for $10). The management said, no. Then we asked for a refund and still they said, no. We spent over $80 and Wolfy's wouldn't refund $10 for the wrap.
The only thing Wolfy's has going for it is the view of Lake Monroe but you can see that without having to walk into Wolfy's and save yourself money and aggravation.
I agree the food is no good but I don't think the view makes up for the disappointing food and service. This was one of the single worst dining experiences of my life.
I started to enumerate the many reasons this restaurant is a waste of time and money and mid-way, realized I was giving this lackluster place even more of my time and attention than it deserves.
Suffice to say that the service was painfully slow, the food was sub-par, at best, and the management was either unavailable to answer customer complaints or just plain disinterested.
I agree that the view is lovely but you don't pick a restaurant for the view! If you're in the mood for undercooked, pre-packaged, overpriced, slow-to-arrive "food" you'll love Wolfy's.
Don’t listen to reviews from the past. Wolfy’s is back and the food, service and prices can not be beat. Was there today (2/22/2015). Has a limited menu you would not believe.Great bar and grill food.
