Today was Day 2 of Celebrate Sanford which meant time for the Historic Goldsboro Extravaganza. We got lucky and found the probably best booth at the event where we had a delicious shrimp dinner consisting of fried shrimp, corn and potatoes. The fresh made lemonade was perfect to refresh us on this rather hot but not too humid afternoon. My good friend Steffi (right) is currently visiting from Germany so for her it was definitely a very authentic experience as she had her first Southern style meal – and she loved it 🙂
