Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal
Today we drove out to the famous Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal. These locks are one of the three locks that ships need to pass in order to make it through the Panama Canal.
The ships are huge, I was very impressed! Also impressive, the fare they have to pay to pass the canal: up to $215,000!
At the Miraflores Locks we also visited the interactive museum/exhibition and watched the visitor movie. If you ever get to go to Panama, definitely check it out!
