Caffee Positano has been recommended to me by several people so I couldn’t wait to check it out for lunch after previewing a home. The food was pretty good, I’ll have to admit though I wasn’t as impressed as I had hoped to be. The menu wasn’t super creative, it’s the typical Italian restaurant menu. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, I am just always looking for something new, specially when it comes to pasta. I eat pasta a minimum of 3 times a week and have gotten very creative with my pasta sauces over the years, so I am always a bit disappointed when an Italian restaurant doesn’t at least deliver what I do on an almost daily basis. But that’s just my opinion on it. I have to say though, the salad dressing (Italian) was pretty awesome and made the salad taste amazing (I am not big into salads so the fact that I loved it is telling me it must have been pretty good). I also had a soup and pizza, great taste.
All food aside though, I loved the idea of stacking tomato cans as decoration inside the restaurant – so that’s an A for that 😉
