I had quite an inspiring morning. After meeting Aaron of The Sanford Project at Magnolia Square I stood there taking pictures of Lukas and me (aka selfies), and then of our shadows. I found the shadow pictures much nicer, so here’s the best one (check it out on Instagram and remember to follow me!). Inspired by these pictures I wrote my poem for the City of Sanford poetry contest. I felt a bit funny writing it because I realized how much more personal a poem is than a blog post. I am so used to sharing my life away on the internet but writing something of artistic nature goes a lot deeper…
