Sanford is definitely a quite dog friendly town. It’s great that so many restaurants allow dogs in their outdoor dining areas and you’ll always see dogs being walked downtown and at events. Another reason why Sanford just feels so cozy and laid back. I am not sure how long this dog “clean up station” on First Street has been here but somehow today was the first time I ever noticed it. Either way, I think it’s great that it’s there because it’s a great reminder of the fact that our streets should remain as clean as we can keep them 😉
