Today my good old friend from Germany, Audrey, who now lives in San Diego, flew in with her husband Brian to look at some houses in the area. They are considering a move over to the East coast so Jose and I took them out to look at properties. Of course, since my parents and sister are still here visiting we took them along with us and gave them some insight into our daily work. Not that we ever have that many people with us when we look at homes, it definitely was bit of a different house hunting trip.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed it a lot and it was nice to introduce this beautiful area not only to my own family but also to my friends. We looked at homes in Alaqua Lakes, Heathrow, Lake Forest, Magnolia Plantation and Astor Farms. We also visited a builder in Lake Mary and looked at a stunning model home (energy efficient on top of that, green homes seem to become more popular – finally!).
To end the day we all went for a good dinner at Terra Mia, the new Italian restaurant in Lake Mary (Park Place at Heathrow).
