Valentine’s Day Wine Painting at 119 French

What: Bring your valentine, bring your friends! This will be a fun painting to enjoy wine with. This canvas painting will make the perfect wall decoration!
The event lasts from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and make sure you come thirsty for some delicious wines! You must purchase your ticket beforehand to book your spot. If you have a special occasion, please reach out and let Lauren know so she can prepare to make your night even better!
This is an acrylic painting and the paint and everything needed to complete your masterpiece is supplied. Bring an apron if you’d like, or wear some paint clothes in case it gets messy!
Your ticket includes all of the supplies that you will need to complete your painting. Of course you’ll be able to take your paintings home with you to show off to your friends and family!

10 Year Anniversary Love Your Shorts Film Festival
When: February 13th-16th
Where: Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center 201 S Magnolia Ave Sanford, FL 32771 United States
What: The Love Your Shorts Film Festival celebrates short films in Sanford, Florida (located just twenty minutes north of Orlando).
We screen only short films under 30 minutes in length. Films are divided into different blocks for screening and the audience votes for their favorites. The winning films from each block advance to a final block for a panel of judges to pick the overall festival winner.
At the end of each block a brief Q&A session is conducted between the filmmakers and audience members.

Valentine’s Grams for Zoo Animals!

What: Instead of flowers and cards, give the animals what they really want! A tasty treat and some extra love this Valentine’s Day.
For a donation of $3 or more, now through Saturday, February 15, the animal of your choosing will receive a Valentine’s Gram with your name on it – or the name of someone special in your life – as well as a delicious treat*.
Order by Saturday, February 15 and your treat will be delivered to your valentine during regular Zoo hours on Friday, February 14; Saturday, February 15; or Sunday, February 16.
The zookeepers will be donating their time to act as cupid and make these special treats! All proceeds from the Valentine’s Grams will be donated to the wild fire relief efforts in Australia.

Heavenly Love: Love Stories of the Night Sky

What: Celebrate Valentine’s Day by learning some of the many love stories told in the tapestry of the night sky. Discover the Korean myth about the stars Vega and Altair and their separation on either side of the Milky Way river. Experience the romance between Orion the Hunter and Artemis, the goddess of the moon, and discover how this love story tragically ends. Travel to the depths of the underworld in the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Find out how the constellation Aquarius was placed in the sky. Finally, enjoy the classic Native American tale of Algon the Hunter and the lost star maidens of the Pleiades.
Doors open 15 minutes prior to showtime. Seating is first come, first served and no reservations needed for the planetarium show. Cash or check only accepted as payment.
A telescope will be provided (weather permitting) for stargazing after each show weather permitting.
This show is recommended for ages 9 and up.
