With the stress of the holidays upon us, I knew this next date night was going to be just what was needed! Unfortunately for the hubs, he spent a lot of time working, so it was hard to sneak away for a date night. No worries, though… I snagged my bestie and invited her to join me for much-needed massages.
We started off the day date by stopping in at Palate Coffee to grab a cup of joe. The coffee shop was buzzing with energy. Almost all the tables were full, but we were lucky to snag a spot to chat – catch up on life and kids. My friend and I see each other often, but usually, it’s with the family in tow. We hardly ever get to sneak away and have “mommy time”, which made this afternoon one to cherish!
After our coffee, we strolled over to Harmonious Massage which is located right above The Alley. We checked in, took in the sights of downtown Sanford from their amazing little 2nd story front porch, then head in to get our zen on.
I won’t go into too many details on the massage itself but I will say that this was the best massage I have ever had. Ever. I’ve had massages at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, on cruise boats and from local massage therapists but Terisa… her hands were magical! We left that 60 minutes massage feel so relaxed and loose. The best feeling ever!!!
After becoming all sorts of tranquil, it was time for us to head to Tuffy’s to “hydrate” (haha). I got something frozen and my bestie got one of their brews on tap. We then headed out back, because you can’t go to Tuffy’s and not go to the back courtyard! The pontoon boat was open, we snagged seats and more chit chat was had… plus lots of laughs and smiles.
